Our comprehensive preventative maintenance program ensures that our heavy equipment, vehicles and tooling are properly maintained so that our workers, the public and environment are not endangered. Our successful maintenance program is: well organized and scheduled, controls hazards, defines operational procedures, and ensures frontline communications with our mechanics and field supervisors.
ATLAS employees are required to complete walk around inspections, pre-starts and log entries prior to any work commencement.
For working in environmentally sensitive areas, ATLAS has developed and utilizes our Environmental Fluid Systems (EFS) program that utilizes non-hydro carbon fluids to minimize the potential for impact.
In addition to the above, ATLAS utilizes a GPS Monitoring System. With this system, we can monitor vehicle and equipment utilization for real time maintenance scheduling and planning, non compliances/ driving infractions, and locations. ATLAS reduces its carbon footprint by scrutinizing unnecessary idling time and fuel consumption.
